What would you ask a former Chief Justice if you had the chance?
Zetech law students, were part of a mentorship programme held at the Supreme Court of Kenya, where they interacted with some of the country's most respected legal minds, including former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
Beyond discussions on legal practice, the conversations challenged students to think about the kind of lawyers they aspire to become. From viewing law as a tool for service, to embracing lifelong learning, integrity, leadership, and resilience, the engagement offered valuable lessons on navigating the profession with purpose and impact. They were also encouraged to recognize their unique strengths, remain active contributors to society, and never allow circumstances or opinions to limit their ambitions.
For many, the experience was more than a mentorship session; it was a reminder that the journey to becoming a great lawyer starts long before graduation.
